Pocket Road Tree Replacement
Here’s a look at some of the new Emerald Sunshine Elms planted by the city in the center island of Pocket Road to replace the Ornamental Pear trees that were there.
The City is hosting a disaster preparedness meeting at John F. Kennedy High School on Nov. 5th
The meeting is Monday, Nov. 5th from 6:30-8:30pm in the J.F.K. High auditorium.
Topics are planned to include: what type of items should be in an emergency kit, the types of natural disasters that are likely in this area, and where to go if a disaster occurs.

Town Hall Meeting at 5:30pm about Levee Encroachments and Public Access
Details from the email… “On Monday October 29th, from 5:30PM – 7:30PM, Council Member Fong will host a public town hall meeting, at the John F. Kennedy High School Auditorium, to discuss the recent announcements regarding encroachments along the Sacramento River levee and discussion on public access along the Sacramento and American River Parkway.”
