Details from the email… “On Monday October 29th, from 5:30PM – 7:30PM, Council Member Fong will host a public town hall meeting, at the John F. Kennedy High School Auditorium, to discuss the recent announcements regarding encroachments along the Sacramento River levee and discussion on public access along the Sacramento and American River Parkway.”

Friday, September 21st, from 5-9:30pm at Garcia Bend Park. Food vendors, fashion, live music from Hero’s Last Mission starting at 5:30pm, and see Ghostbusters on the giant screen starting at 7:45pm. Remember to bring a blanket or lawn chairs.
From the email… “We have had a great turnout at each event held at Garcia Bend. Join Us for our last event of the season, and make it special. We will have a few new options added to the menu this time. There will be several new trucks added to the venue, we will have a beer garden hosted by SactoMoFo, and after everyone is full from dinner, we will show the a movie for everyone to enjoy, Ghostbusters. We hope to see you there!”

From the event listing… “We’re another year older! Help us celebrate the Pocket-Greenhaven branch’s 2nd anniversary with a special party hosted by the Friends of Pocket Library.
At 10:30am we’ll have a family-friendly musical performance by the Poodlums; between 11am-1pm there will be facepainting and balloons by Glitter the Clown, juggling entertainment by Kyle Johnson, games and other treats. Come join us!”

From the email… “Join us on Wednesday for the 3rd round of the District 7 Mobile Food Expo. Our last event was great. The lines were reasonable, no more than 15 minutes. We had a great turnout of various vendors. Come out and enjoy a fun family friendly event. Make sure to bring a blanket or your lawn chairs.”
