A couple of days ago I was out taking new photos of Garcia Bend Park for the upcoming parks update and thought I’d take another of the boat launch to show the changes from the one from a few months ago.
4th of July Pocket Parade
Monday June 27th is the last day to register your entry in the parade. Click here for the entry form. The parade is on July 4th, starting at 10am, and goes along Windbridge Drive from Lisbon Elementary to Garcia Bend Park. Garcia Bend Beach Trash
Garcia Bend has some nice little beaches that are whole lot more inviting when people haven’t left their trash behind. Please take your trash with you when you leave them or any part of the park or parkway. There are trash and recycle containers available in the main part of the park.
